Scotiabank sponsors 16th Annual Cancer Ball

Nassau, The Bahamas, May 15, 2017 – Scotiabank is a proud bronze partner of the Cancer Society of The Bahamas’ 16th Annual Gala Ball scheduled for Saturday, May 20.

“At Scotiabank, we are committed to helping young persons in our community become better off,” said Maxine Seymour, Manager, Sponsorships & Philanthropy, Scotiabank. “Cancer knows no age limit, impacting all ages. Proceeds from this annual gala will help the Society with its Cancer Caring Centre Expansion Project, adding hospice and day care with an additional 16 rooms for patients.”

The Ball is scheduled for this coming Saturday, May 20 at the Melia Nassau Beach Resort under the theme, ‘Celebrate! – Faith. Hope. Love. Peace. Happiness. Survival. Joy.’ Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling, GCMG, Governor General of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas is the patron. Cocktails are at 7:00p.m., dinner will be served at 8:00p.m. Dress is Black Tie.
