Scotiabank Sponsors 17th Annual Cancer Ball

Nassau, The Bahamas, May 7, 2018 – Scotiabank is a bronze partner of this year’s Cancer Society of The Bahamas Gala Ball which hopes to bring greater awareness to all types of cancer and the various colours representing the many forms.

“Over the years, cancer has impacted the lives of so many persons in The Bahamas including mine. The Ball is scheduled for Saturday, May 26 at the Imperial Ballroom, Atlantis Paradise Island, under the theme ‘Met Gala: Colours of Life’. Dr. The Honourable Hubert A. Minnis, Prime Minister of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and Mrs. Patricia Minnis are the patrons. Cocktails begin at 7:00p.m.; dinner will be served at 8:00p.m. The Cancer Society will honor Judith Higgs and Ride for Hope Bahamas at this year’s gala.
