    Telephone banking gives you the freedom to bank 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any touch-tone phone in the country. If you have a ScotiaCard Visa Debit card with at least one Scotiabank account linked to it, you can access telephone banking by calling us at 356-1699 or outside of New Providence 1 (242) 300-6600.

    Scotiabank Telephone Banking gives you the freedom to:
  • Pay bills

  • Transfer funds between accounts of similar currency

  • Enquire about deposit account balances

  • View credit card and line of credit balance and payment information

  • Check daily foreign exchange rates

  • Obtain a list of the last 10 transactions on your savings or chequing account

  • Scotiabank Telephone Banking gives you the freedom to:
  • Control: Telephone banking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you choose your banking hours

  • Record keeping: Upon successful completion of a bill payment or transfer of funds transaction, you will be given a transaction reference number by the system for your records

  • Assistance: Our representatives are available to help with telephone banking Mondays to Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    Scotiabank is committed to keeping your personal information confidential and secure while using Telephone Banking:

  • Only you can obtain your account information once we confirm both your ScotiaCard Visa Debit number and self-selected Access Code. As an added security feature, you can change your Access Code at any time to further protect your account information

  • Know that Scotiabank will never unexpectedly phone or email you asking for your Access Code, Personal Identification Number (PIN), credit card or account numbers, or other such information

  • Do not divulge your telephone banking Access Code to anyone and report any suspicious requests to Scotiabank immediately at 356-1699 or outside of New Providence at 1 (242) 300-6600

  • To get started with Telephone Banking, all you need is your ScotiaCard Visa Debit card.

    When paying bills, ensure that you have the paper version with you, as the last three digits of the account number of each bill will be necessary for payment.
