How to apply
Need to open a Deposit Account?
Effective January 4, 2022, account opening will be conducted on an appointment-only basis.

Identification
Provide ONE piece of government-issued ID, with photograph and signature:
- Passport
- Driver's licence
- Military ID card
- National Insurance Board Card
Secondary ID:
One secondary piece of identification
Any additional Government Issued ID such as:
- Voter’s Card or Birth Certificate
- Residency Permit (if applicable), e.g. Work Permit, Permit to Reside, Spousal Permit, Permanent Resident, etc.
Proof of contact
Any two of the following:
- Telephone Number, e.g. Mobile, Home Phone, etc.
- Proof of Address e.g. Recent Utility Bill, Bank account statement or Copy of lease or letter from landlord
- Valid Email Address
If you are a non-resident customer, a reference letter or a current account statement from a reputable bank is required.
Account opening requirements for a minor
If you are opening an account for a minor, you must be the child’s Parent or Legal Guardian. Therefore, please note the following:
- The child’s birth certificate is required along with a valid Passport.
- Legal Guardians are required to present proof of guardianship.
- Parents and Legal Guardians are required to satisfy identification requirements.
